Returns & Refunds Policy – Naoko Arte 

At Naoko Arte, each notebook is handcrafted and made to order. Because of the personalised nature of our products, our returns and refunds policy follows the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

Change of Mind

We do not offer refunds, returns or exchanges for:

  • Change of mind
  • Incorrect choices made at checkout
  • Personalised designs, colours, or names selected by the customer

As all products are custom-made, these orders cannot be resold or reused.

When You Are Eligible for a Refund or Replacement

Under the ACL, you may request a refund, repair, or replacement if your product:

  • Arrives damaged
  • Has a manufacturing defect (for example, faulty binding or misprinted pages)
  • Is incorrect and does not match the item you ordered

How to Request a Return

Please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order and include:

  • Your order number
  • Clear photos showing the issue
  • A brief description of the problem

We will review your request within 1–3 business days.

Return Shipping

  • If the issue is our fault, we will cover all return or replacement shipping costs.
  • If no fault is found with the product, the customer will be responsible for return shipping costs.

Refund Processing

If a refund is approved, it will be processed within 3–7 business days, using the same payment method used for the original purchase.
